Midthunder is a member of the Fort Peck Assiniboine tribe. She is originally from the Navajo Nation of Shiprock in New Mexico. After spending most her childhood living in Santa Fe (where she went to the Academy for Technology and the Classics and where her mom worked at a casting company), she returned to her home. Her father, who is a native of New Mexico. Native American, and they have both joined the Fort Peck Sioux Tribe. Amber has mixed ancestry because her mother is adopted. Prey features a largely Native American cast, including Dakota Beavers as Naru's brother and Jhane Meyers, who played Comanche and Blackfeet and provided an extensive amount of advice to the film. Because of the time in which the film is set, it was not feasible to choose any dog. Coco, the adorable animal actor who portrays Sarii is chosen because of her specific rare breed known as the American Dingo. It's also known as the Carolina Dog and it's one of the oldest in existence.
TJ talks to us during the movie what Amanda means to TJ. He tells us throughout the film how much Amanda means to him. He confessed to Amanda about his feelings but she declined him since she was already with Daniel. After that, Jack married Amanda and following her demise, Emily revealed her true persona. Since then, they have become best friends. They are married at the end of the series. Amanda and Wilf are married only after midnight. She is the only one who wins the pot.
